Pros and Cons
Authority Site System Pricing
The regular price of TASS is $997 as advertised.
However, my readers can get a $398 discount.. That's 40% off the regular price! There's also an option to pay monthly to take the sting out of your credit card bill.
The Authority Site System is my #1 pick for a few reaons.
It's great not just for beginners, but intermediate to advanced marketers as well. The training is very motivational and easy to follow along. Mark and Gael have a lot of experience building and selling affiliate marketing websites and have sold them for over 6 figures. If you follow what they do, you could potentially do the same.
It's a course that doesn't need any hype to promote because the student's results speak for themselves. There is no fluff... no bullshit... no false promises.
What I would suggest is to watch this free training first or head on over to my Authority Site System review page where I take you inside the course.
So, if you're looking for a top affiliate marketing course without any let-downs and a great track record, you're safe with The Authority Site System.
2. Affiliate Lab
Best Alternative to TASS
One of the hardest choices I had to make in life was deciding between The Authority Site System and Affiliate Lab. (ok I am exaggerating a bit lol)
But really though, it was a tough decision. However, that doesn't mean the Affiliate Lab is second best to TASS. In fact, I do find them both to be the pinnacle of affiliate marketing courses today. I just can't have two #1's.
So let's break down why the Affiliate Lab is in the #2 spot, (but shares #1 with TASS as well - if that makes any sense!)
In case you don't know, Affiliate Lab was created by Matt Diggity, a very well known and respected engineer-turned-marketer. He's best known for building hundreds of websites and testing how Google ranks them.
He's also perfected the art of selling websites. Did you know that if you build a website that makes $10,000 per month you can sell it for $350,000 or more? Matt has flipped many sites with big pay-days.
That's enough to buy a new house. (Unless you live in California)
Even his students are mastering building sites and flipping for profit:
You're going to learn how to build sites and flip them for big profits in the Affiliate Lab. Or - you can just keep them and reap the profits month to month.
Why Buy the Affiliate Lab?
- Matt Diggity has an excellent reputation and is an authority in this space
- There are over 170+ videos, a ton of content. The over-the-shoulder video training makes it easier to learn
- Included are templates and tools that take out the guesswork of niche selection, anchor text ratio, keyword research & more.
- Included checklists and SOPs (standard operating procedures) that Matt uses to rank his own sites on Google
- Community group on Facebook – get questions answered by Matt himself and other experts
- Niche selection - learn how to pick a niche and which ones to stay away from
- Matt constantly tests, tests and tests and let's you in on his findings with updates in the course.
- It’s the last course you’ll ever need for affiliate marketing
What's the main difference between Affiliate Lab and The Authority Site System?
Because Matt Diggity takes SEO very seriously and has nailed it down to a science, that's the main focus in the course. Why? Because rankings = money.
The higher you rank in Google, the more money you will make. Period.
Although the guys at TASS are also experts in SEO, Matt Diggity has a few more "tricks" up his sleeve when it comes to ranking in Google. So, it's a bit more technical in regards to on and off-page SEO. On-page refers to the SEO you do on your site, Off-page involves backlinks and everything you can do to get more traffic outside of your site.
Another difference is TASS is more suited for those that want step-by-step instructions on how to build a website. In TASS, you will get to see them build a website in real time. So, you can simply follow along and replicate the whole process.
You don't get that in the Affiliate Lab, but you do get training on how to build a website with WordPress, its just not as involved as it is with TASS.
Pros and Cons
Affiliate Lab Pricing
The regular price of the Affiliate Lab is $997 but you can get $200 off here. This is a one-time payment that gets you updates for life. There is no monthly payment plan.
To conclude, Affiliate Lab is an excellent course because of the up-to-date training, the extensive SEO section, easy to understand instruction and many positive student testimonials. That's just a few reasons.
What to choose? Affiliate Lab or Authority Site System?
I'll keep this simple:
- Go with TASS if you are a complete beginner and have never built a website before.
- Go with Affiliate Lab if you have a little experience with building sites or have the patience to learn (training provided).
If you want to take a deeper dive into Affiliate Lab, I suggest checking out my full Affiliate Lab review where I take you inside the course to see everything you get.
3. Savage Affiliates
Best for Beginners, Includes Email, Funnel Marketing and Site Building
Savage Affiliates was created by internet marketer Franklin Hatchett. It's great for beginners and those that not only want to do affiliate marketing with a website, but with email and funnel marketing as well.
It's a very diverse program with a lot of different ways to make money with affiliate marketing.
Franklin is an expert when it comes to funnels.
He's won a couple of the prestigious "2 Comma Club" awards from Clickfunnels for generating over $2 Million in sales.
If funnel marketing interests you, he's one of the best in the business.
So What Will You Learn in Savage Affiliates?
If you have never built a website or blog before, no worries! You'll learn how to build one from scratch using WordPress.
Franklin is going to teach you how to turn a passion of yours into money by monetizing your website with affiliate links that produce passive income - even in your sleep.
While other courses only focus on either paid or SEO traffic, Savage Affiliates teaches you how to get traffic through SEO, free traffic methods and paid traffic methods.
What’s Included in the Course?
Here's some highlights of just some of the things you'll learn:
- How to do niche & keyword research
- How to setup your website in WordPress from scratch
- In-depth training on email marketing including all of Franklin's email hacks
- How to setup funnels (and get free funnels in Savage Affiliates Super)
- Clickbank & Amazon affiliate training
- How to do SEO
- How to get free traffic
- A full module on Paid traffic (FB & Google ads)
It's suitable for beginners but covers many strategies to grow your business how you want.
Pros and Cons
Savage Affiliates Pricing
- The standard version ($197) includes niche research, website creation training, email marketing, funnel training, SEO, paid and free traffic training and more.
- The Super version ($297) includes everything above and the Clickfunnels Affiliate Academy, done-for-you marketing funnels, blueprints on Launch Jacking & Web hosting.
With this low cost, diverse training from a reputable coach with lots of success stories, you can't go wrong with Savage Affiliates.
How does Savage Affiliates compare to TASS & Affiliate Lab?
Well, for one, it's a lot cheaper. Besides price, you also learn how to build funnels AND get a copy of the funnels that Franklin used himself to make him $2+ million. That's a bonus!
However, the biggest difference is that both TASS and Affiliate Lab are superior to when it comes to keyword research and both on & off-page SEO. While you will learn all of these things from Franklin, I just found that it's not as comprehensive as the other two.
Still, there is a TON of training (did I mention over 220 videos) so you will learn a LOT from this budget-friendly course.
You can read my Savage Affiliates Review if you'd like to learn more or click below to jump to the main site.
4. Blog Growth Engine - Adam Enfroy
Best for Building a Personal Blog
Blog Growth Engine is a relatively new course by Adam Enfroy. Adam Enfroy exploded onto the scene back in 2019 when he started making 80K a month with a site not even a year old.
Despite only launching his website at the end of 2018, it had humongous traffic according to ahrefs. It seemed like it was a well-established site with years under its belt - but I just couldn't believe that such success came within such an impressively short period of time!
Adam currently makes around $250,000 per month. 🙃
How did he achieve such incredible success in such a short period of time?
Adam is an expert at link building and has a unique approach by "building relationships". Building links is what gets you ranked higher in Google, which results in more traffic. More traffic equals, you guessed it - more money.
This course differs from other courses out there because it's essentially a blueprint of what he does step by step to achieve that kind of success.
He shows you exactly what he does to make 250K a month, holding nothing back.
His course teaches you how to start a blog in a niche that you can relate to. He also tells you to start it using the "brand of you" - in other words your name. (of course you don't have to use your own name if you don't want to)
The course is taught by him and his "right hand man" Colin Shipp (another successful marketer).
Pros and Cons
Blog Growth Engine Pricing
Blog growth engine is $1497 - with the discount. Normally it sells for $2997. So yea, it is kinda pricey.
To get the discount, you have to watch the free training in his "Adam Enfroy Masterclass."
If you've got some time to spare, just sign up for the free training - you don't have to buy the course.
Check out my Blog Growth Engine review if you'd like to learn more about the course.
5. Scale Your Travel Blog
Best for Travel Bloggers
Want to combine your passion for travel with blogging? Then you need to create a travel blog and monetize it with affiliate marketing.
Scale Your Travel Blog by mikeandlauratravel.com is the best course for travel bloggers out there.
Mike and Laura have a few blogs in the travel space and their main travel blog makes them 30K plus a month.
I got the course and went through all the training and it's one of the most impressive courses I've seen. Why? Because it's different. It's incredibly interactive. You don't just watch videos and learn, you actually have things DONE FOR YOU.
For example, you don't have to guess which keywords to choose for your niche. Just submit your niche to their team and you'll get many keywords you should go after. But that's just the tip of the iceberg. You'll also learn:
- How to pick the perfect niche
- How to write a blog post properly
- How to set up your WordPress website from scratch
- How to rank your pages with SEO for valuable free traffic
- Learn what affiliate programs you need to promote
- How to set up email campaigns and more
You also get access to the very interactive Facebook group and other webinars. When you buy this course you don't just get training, you get a community of people backing you for success.
Scale Your Travel Blog Pricing
Scale your travel blog isn't cheap, it's $2497 or 6 payments of $427.
However, there is a lot of value in this course due to the amount of interaction and done-for-you systems.
6. E-Farming System
Best Affiliate Marketing Course for Email Marketing
The E-Farming System is an affiliate marketing course where you don't need a website, you don't need to worry about SEO or ranking in Google and you don't have to spend money in Facebook or Google ads.
For those looking to make big bucks using affiliate marketing without having to create a website, the eFarming System may be the perfect fit.
Here is how it works:
E-Farming System Pricing
The eFarming System is reasonably priced at just $197 which is a one-time payment. You even get a 30 day money back guarantee.
Pros and Cons
Igor Kheifets Efarming system is a VERY different course when comparing it to the other courses above.
It's the first one I recommend on my list where you don't need a website.
With Igor's expertise, those looking to make money through affiliate marketing can bypass the painstaking task of writing endless blog posts.
You are even told exactly what to say in your emails. You don't need to be a copywriter or great at writing. Even if English is your second language - it doesn't matter! Full training is provided.
Check out my review of the eFarming System to see inside the course, get more info and see if it's for you. (Yes, I am a member as well).
7. Commission Hero
Best Course for Affiliate Marketing Using Pay-Per-Click Ads
Commission Hero was created by Robby Blanchard, a top Clickbank affiliate. It claims to teach you how to make $1000 a day using Facebook ads with Clickfunnels.
If you don't want to build a website and wait for it to rank in Google - this course is for you. This course is VERY different from the 301K Challenge because it does not use Solo ads.
With this course, you'll learn to be an expert in Facebook ads. You'll learn how to drive targeted traffic to your high-paying affiliate offers.
You will learn the art of persuasion by discovering how to craft compelling copy that drives sales from Facebook.
Ready to take your business up a notch? If you're eager to source your products from Facebook, create an appealing offer on a landing page, and advertise that same offer with powerful FB ads - this course is perfectly tailored for YOU.
No one else teaches this better than Robby Blanchard.
Pros and Cons
Another thing to consider is that you are going to need a Clickfunnels Account which will set you back $97 a month for the starter pack.
Keep in mind though, you could "copy" the funnels you get from Robby with a free Clickfunnels trial, and then recreate them using a cheaper page builder like LeadPages or ThriveThemes which will save you a LOT of money.
Right now, the only products that you are taught to promote are Clickbank products but you could find other platforms for products to promote.
So if you are ok with sourcing a product on Facebook, build a landing page to promote an offer and then run Facebook ads for that offer, then this course is custom tailored for you.
If you don't have the money to invest in Facebook ads, ($5 - $20 a day or more) then you should probably shy away from this course. Also, if you don't have $997 to spend on a course, then check out my cheaper alternatives on this page.
Commission Hero Pricing
Commission Hero costs $997. You can have the option to break it up with 2 payments of $597 each 30 days apart but why pay an extra $197?
Commission Hero can be a great option for those that don't have writing chops and don't want to make affiliate commissions through a blog. Coming from an instructor that was the top Clickbank affiliate, it's got a good reputation.
Definitely recommended if you want to go the Facebook/Clickfunnels route.
Check out my Commission Hero review or click below to hear Robby's message.
8. Super Affiliate System Pro
Best For Paid Ads and Native Ads Marketing
If you are not interested in creating a blog then the Super Affiliate System Pro by John Crestani is another good option for you.
This course focuses on building landing pages using builders like Clickfunnels or Leadpages. The traffic is brought in by using paid advertising on Google and Facebook.
You'll also learn about other paid traffic strategies such as "native ads" which is either text or even a video that matches the content that surrounds it.
You can learn more about his and more about the course in my Super Affiliate System Review.
Pros and Cons
Super Affiliate System Pro Pricing
The Super Affiliate System costs $997 which is a one-time payment. you are covered by a 60-day refund guarantee.
The Super Affiliate System Pro is similar to Commission Hero and directly competes with it. If paid advertising is more your speed then either one of these courses will suit you well. If you can't decide, do check out my individual reviews on them.
9. Project 24 - Income School
Best Alternative to Blog Growth Engine
Project 24 is designed to teach you how to build a successful niche site (and a Youtube Channel) in 24 months.
Project 24 is a great course and it would be closer to the top of my list if they taught off-page SEO.
They tell you that as long as you have good, solid content, your site will start to naturally rank in Google.
This is simply not true. There are many ranking factors and while good content is one of them, backlinks play a very significant role.
I think that if you know SEO already and know how to rank sites, but are terrible on the content end, then this course would be a good fit.
Project 24 does an excellent job on teaching you how to build a niche site from scratch, heck they even provide a really good theme if you buy their course.
Pros and Cons
Project 24 Pricing
Project 24 Costs $449 for the first year then $249 every year after.
As previously mentioned, Project 24 is a good course but the results from their training will take much longer than any other course on this page.
This is because athough the content and teaching is great, they don't teach backlinking or keyword research. It's the only thing missing really. So if that's ok with you, I also recommend this course.
Bonus Course - Passive Income Unlocked
I am throwing this course in as a bonus. I recently bought and reviewed a course called Passive Income Unlocked, I found out about it through the YouTube channel of the same name, which is run by Jeff Bridenstine and Ben Esman.
This course teaches you how to build "simple informational websites" that get a ton of traffic. While they do teach you how to make money with affiliate marketing, most of the money made is with display ads.
So, you're not doing any selling on these sites, but getting traffic by providing solutions to problems and answers to questions that people are looking for on Google.
They have built 5 sites like this that make around $50,000 per month. The best part is you don't need to pay for any expensive keyword tools.
The course is only $90 (for 6 months) and it's actually really good. Read my review for more info.
So, What is the Best Affiliate Marketing Course for You?
When you are making a choice, you need to ask yourself these two questions:
- Do you want to do affiliate marketing through a blog or website that gets free organic traffic from Google?
- Or, would you rather focus on paid advertising and not write so much?
If You Are Looking To Do Affiliate Marketing With a Website, These are my top 2 Choices
1. The Authority Site System
The Authority Site System by Authority Hacker is one of the best affiliate marketing courses I have seen for getting free, targeted traffic from Google.
Gael and Mark from Authority Hacker are experts in SEO and have built many websites that rank high in Google. The course follows a case study where you simply apply the same strategies to your own website. This makes it so easy to build an affiliate marketing website which is something you don't see in other courses.
That's why it's my number one pick. It's a combination of strategies from experts and the way how it's taught makes it easy for beginners.
Not convinced? I highly suggest you watch this free training to see what TASS is all about.
2. Affiliate Lab
Matt Diggity's Affiliate Lab is also an excellent choice. It covers a lot of technical strategies similar to TASS and has many successful students.
Matt Diggity has an excellent reputation and manages a portfolio of highly successful affiliate marketing websites himself.
So to learn from him and his team is going to get you results. I only rank it second to The Authority Site System because it's a little more expensive and there's no refund guarantee like you get with TASS.
However, the course is worth the money and a great investment if you want to build quality websites that make affiliate income.
If You Would Rather Do Paid Ads Without Creating a Website or Blog
Choose this option if you don't want to build a website and deal with having to create a lot of content.
Here, you can focus more on writing ads and using paid advertising to get eyeballs on your affiliate offers.
1. Commission Hero
Commission Hero is the best course for paid ads I have ever seen. It focuses on Clickbank offers using Facebook ads.
Robby Blanchard's strategies do work, and his income and number 1 affiliate status on Clickbank proves that. For that reason, I suggest his training for paid ads.
Option 2 - 301K Challenge
Some people don't want to mess with Facebook ads or even Clickbank. That's where the 301K Challenge shines. It uses solo ads instead of Facebook ads which has a focus on email marketing.
You don't need to come up with a lot of content either, so there really isn't much writing involved. It's great for those that want to start earning affiliate commissions right away, without having to wait like you would with having a website or blog.
Wrapping This All Up...
So there you have it. Affiliate marketing is either done the traditional way with a blog or website or through paid ads with limited content. I have given you my suggestions for both of these strategies.
I am not just randomly picking these either. I am enrolled in these courses myself, have gone through all the training and applied the strategies in my own affiliate marketing business.
I can tell you that they do work. And, I am comfortable recommending to you my top choices for each.
Feel free to comment below if you bought one of these courses and how you did with them. All comments welcome!
Affiliate Marketing FAQ’s
What is Affiliate Marketing?
Affiliate marketing is a way to make money online by promoting other people's products. You collect a commission when someone buys through your unique link.
Below are the steps involved:
Where can I learn affiliate marketing?
There are plenty of resources online on how to learn affiliate marketing. Some are free, some are great, while others are not so good.
In order to get the best training possible, it is best that you choose one of my suggested courses and one that has been reviewed properly by a 3rd party. I buy all the affiliate marketing courses I review.
How do I start an affiliate marketing business?
To start, you need to decide whether you are going to create a blog, Youtube channel or do paid ads with landing pages.
Once you know what platform works for you, you need to do research on how to find the best products to promote. You then simply apply to be an affiliate for these products(s), get your affiliate link and include it in your promotions.
Why do some affiliate marketers fail?
Some Affiliate marketers fail for a variety of reasons.
Can you get rich from affiliate marketing?
Short answer - yes. Many affiliate marketers make 5 or 6 figures a month. In some cases, even more.
This is a very profitable business model and if done right, you can make a lot of money in this business.
Is affiliate marketing easy?
The answer to this question is yes and no. If you have the right training, the right strategy and the right product, it could be very easy.
However, missing just one of those elements could make things very difficult and not see any success.
Which affiliate network is best?
There really is no best network because the best would depend on the type of product(s) you wish to promote.
For example, if you want to promote courses and software, JVZOO might be a good option, or even Clickbank.
If you want to promote health products, then MarketHealth would be a good choice. So you see, it all depends on what you want to promote.
How long does it take to be a successful affiliate marketer?
This is a loaded question because again - it depends on you. If you dive in with little or no affiliate marketing training at all, chances are it's going to take you much longer than if you had the right training.
Some people see success within their first week, others could take months.
How Much Can Affiliate Marketers Make?
This varies greatly. Some marketers make just a few dollars a month while others are making 5 or 6 figures.
Pay attention to the ones that are making bank and learn from them.
What are the Best Affiliate Marketing Courses?
The best courses are the one listed on this page. My top choices are Savage Affiliates, The Authority Site System, The Affiliate Lab and the 301K Challenge.
How do affiliate marketers make money for beginners?
For beginners, it is best that you find something you like. It will be much easier to promote something you are interested in rather than something you are not. Once you bringin in an income, you can outsource the work to others for content that you are not familiar with.
How do I become a successful affiliate marketer?
How do I promote ClickBank products without a website?
This can easily be done by starting a Youtube channel. Many successful marketers only use this platform to promote affiliate products from Clickbank.
If you're not shy to get on camera, you will have the most success this way. You can also do a video slideshows if you're not comfortable being on camera, but it won't be as effective.
How do Amazon affiliates earn an income?
Amazon affiliates earn an income by signing up for the Amazon Associates program. Once accepted, you simply include your amazon links on your site, blog or video.
It's the same thing like any other affiliate program. If someone makes a purchase from the link you have, then you'll get a percentage of that sale.
Keep in mind commissions are low, averaging around 4%.
How fast can you make money affiliate marketing?
This is one of the top questions asked. The amount of time to start making money with affiliate marketing varies greatly. Some people see success within a few weeks, others can take months. I wrote an article on this subject here.
Is affiliate marketing a pyramid scheme?
Affiliate marketing is not a pyramid scheme. With a pyramid scheme such as MLM, you have to pay to become their affiliate.
In the traditional affiliate model, you do not pay anything upfront so therefore it is not the same.
Is affiliate marketing still profitable 2023?
Yes, it is still profitable in 2023. I see no end in sight for making money with this business model because vendors know that they need affiliates to survive.
To compare, it would be like a typical company with a product to sell that doesn't have a sales team. How could they possibly survive? Affiliate marketing is alive and well and will stay that way.
If you're looking to get started right away, choose from any of my recommended courses that I have included on this page fully vetted by me.

If you had to pick between TASS or Affiliate Lab without looking at the price which one would you go to? Which one do you feel is the best without the price variable?
For myself, I’d go with Affiliate Lab only because I don’t need the website building walkthrough that TASS does. You can’t go wrong with either, it just comes down to preference.
Thank you for the thorough article!
I would love to hear your insights on Wealthy Affiliates if you have any…
Hi Eranit, I am not a fan of Wealthy Affiliate which is why it’s not on this list. You can check out my Wealthy Affiliate review to see why.
Is the SEO taught in these courses only for Google or do they teach for other search engines like Bing?
Considering the threat from ChatGPT, do you think affiliate marketing through Google has bright prospects in future?
Hi Stanley, good question. SEO is SEO so if you get it right you’ll rank in Google and other search engines. ChatGPT is just another tool affiliate marketers can use. It still needs user interaction to get it right, so I don’t ever see it being a threat.
I am a complete beginner with nil SEO or blogging knowlege. After going through the reviews of the best affiliate marketing courses I find that each course has its limitations. For instance, Affiliate Lab focuses less on content creation, TASS does not cover grey hat SEO etc.,
Which begs the question:
Is one course enough for a beginner or should a beginner take two or three courses so that all concepts are covered?
Hi Xavier, great question. Definitely one course is all you need. This changes if you want to do affiliate marketing in a different way. For example, TASS & Affiliate Lab focus on building websites that get free organic traffic, 301K focuses on Solo ads and email lists, Commission Hero focuses on Facebook ads. Whichever type of affiliate marketing you want to get into, any one of these courses will cover everything. I think buying both TASS and Affiliate Lab would be overkill because even though they have subtle differences, both are going to prepare you very well to get an authority site up and running. Hope that helps!
Thanks for this review and advise. All very helpfull for me. I would like to know if the courses you recommend for people intereste in making money in affiliate marketing also apply to people living outside US lile me in Portugal (EU Country). Will the courses be usefull to my location reality and the niches here? For example amazon here as a site for every country….so to link to them is a not just link amazon.com..
Thanks for your insights.
Yes, it doesn’t matter where you are in the world, you can take any of these courses to learn affiliate marketing. If your site is in English, you’ll be targeting all English speaking countries and also those that search for products and services in English where English is not the official language. Niches are universal for the most part so they work everywhere. If you are going to use Amazon links, you can set up what is called an Amazon International link. You can get more info about this on the Amazon Associates page. Hope that helps!
Which mode is good for a newbie ? Affiliate marketing through website OR email marketing? Which of these can make more money? Can a newbie learn both the courses ie., TASS & 301K challenge and adopt both modes?
Hi Joseph, newbies can do either one. It’s more of a preference really. I prefer setting up a website because when it ranks it’s much more passive than email marketing strategy in 301K which you constantly have to tweak and throw money at solo ads. Keep in mind with a website you can also do email marketing using the inbound traffic which you don’t have to pay for. If you’re interested in both, you’ll only need TASS.
May i check Igor Kheifets 301K Challenge & his 30-Day E-Farming Challenge same course? Both are price $197.
Read the pointers for both courses in Igor’s page. Saw some overlaps. Hence puzzled which to purchase as a beginner. Advise please, thank you
Hi Sinah, The 301k and the E-farming challenge are basically the same courses but with different framing, both are for beginners to help them start their affiliate business and make their first sale.
