Builderall: Is This all-in-one Marketing Platform Worth it?

One of the main problems new entrepreneurs face is how to build an attractive website, landing and sales pages, set up an email campaign and so forth.

Builderall is an all-in-one solution that addresses this problem. It is now in version 3.0 and is quite an improvement from its predecessor. The question is - is this for you?

It claims to be the last marketing tool that you will ever need.  It is inexpensive compared to similar builders like Clickfunnels.

I will probably do a comparison between the two at some point but the main difference is that Clickfunnels focuses primarily on sales funnels while Builderall can create a blog, website, sales funnels, apps videos and more.

Starting at just $29.90 a month, you'll save about $70 a month comparing the two. But, is it still worth it and is it for you? That's the focus of my review today.

What is Builderall?

The platform has been around since 2011 so it's not exactly new and was created by Erick Salgado who is the current CEO.

They call this software an "Online Business and Digital Marketing Platform" and gear it towards entrepreneurs and small business owners.

What this product really is is just a platform that includes tools to make your life easier as a marketer. According to them, you won't need to purchase any other tool to launch fully automated campaigns for your business.

It includes an email platform called "Mailingboss" which is essentially a basic autoresponder similar to products like GetResponse, AWeber, etc. However, it's not as robust as these programs.

The main purpose of the software is to help you build landing pages, sales pages and funnels with minimal effort. Let's talk about Builderall pricing:

How Much Does Builderall Cost?

The "Web Presence" plan no longer exists, it was $9.90 per month.

  • The "Essential Plan" costs $29,90 per month
  • The "Premium Plan" costs $69.90 per month

Builderall Has Increased Their Tools List

I did check them out a few years back and wasn't really impressed with what they had to offer. It seems they now have upped their game and have even included some additional add ons which is included. On July 27, 2018 Builderall 3.0 was released.

When you log into the platform, you can customize your "Back Office" where you will decide which tools to add to your profile. You can add all or some, depending which ones you want access to easily.

I decided to add them all so you guys can get the full picture of what you'll get. It's actually a lot!

The tools are Segregated into Different Categories:

  • All Tools
  • Builders
  • MailingBoss Autoresponder
  • Social Media & Engagement
  • Design
  • Traffic Management

All Tools

Clicking this section will reveal all the tools you have decided to populate into your back office.

Here are all the builders that are available on the Platform.

Pixel Perfect Builder

This is essentially a management tool where you can make changes to all your connected sites in one window. You can make changes like changing a site's title, category and description.

You can also connect your domain here, deactivate or activate SSL and also set up email accounts based on the domain you are working on. This interface also allows you to transfer the site to another Builderall user and to publish & unpublish your sites.

Canvas Funnel Builder

This is their "signature digital funnel builder" where all your tools are displayed in a flowchart format. You'll get a visual of all your tools such as your landing pages, upsells, emails, sales pages etc.

I created a mockup below and although it looks very busy, you can stretch this out on your own. I mashed it together so it's easier to fit on this page.

You'll be able to build your very own eCommerce site using Magento with this tool. You just need to plugin your domain or use a subdomain. NEVER go the subdomain route because your site will look like this - That does not inspire confidence at all!

If you are going to go the ecom route, I strongly suggest Shopify anyway. They are the ecom leaders and you'll have a LOT more options for customization.

However, I created a mockup of what the site will look like and this is what came out:

It's not a terrible design but if you are going to get into eCommerce you should be using a standalone platform like Shopify as I mentioned. Ecommerce is a lot of work and should not be considered a "tool" like the other ones available in Builderall.

If you are serious about ecommerce and specifically dropshipping, check out my post on my top rated dropshipping courses.

Webinars can bring in a lot of money if done right. Want to incorporate your own webinar? Here you can create an interactive webinar with screen sharing, streaming options, webinar recording and other options.

I haven't tested the Webinar to be honest so not sure how well it works. From what I undertstand it has similar features to WebinarJam and chances are you might have already been on a webinar using that platform.

To better explain how "Webinar" works, watch this video.

In this tool, you'll be able to create unlimited courses. You will be able to add teachers, students and have the ability to record test results also. Courses can then be embedded on any webpage.

App Creator

If you want to create an app for your business, you no longer need to hire a developer to make one for you. Now full disclosure, I haven't tested this app creator so can't vouch for If someone has tried it, please let me know in the comments below if it works well.

Once your app is created, you can upload it to either the Apple App Store, Google Play Store or the Amazon App Store.

MailingBoss Autoresponder

MailingBoss is Builderall's answer to email programs like GetResponse, AWeber and so on. Creating an email campaign is an integral part of your business. If people come to your site, funnel or blog, you want to capture them and offer some value. Something that can help them with a particular problem.

There's no better way than with email. Nowadays autoresponders are very intelligent in the sense that they can be customized based on your readers' action. For example, if they don't open an email, you're email tool will know (if this action is triggered) and send them a customized email that someone else would not receive - ones that opened that email.

With MailingBoss, it's good to see that they have incorporated these workflows (that's what GetResponse calls it and what I use) into their email program.

Builderall allows you to have a 10,000 subscriber count which will take you some time to build, unless you're a rockstar. Some autoresponders charge extra for these automation tools (like GetResponse) but with MailingBoss they are included.

With MailingBoss you can:

1. Allow Trigger Actions

When a link in your email is clicked, it can allow any of the following:

  • Move to another list
  • Present a new email campaign
  • Move to a different list
  • Insert a tag

2. Add Rules

Have the ability to remove a subscriber from a list they previously were to and onto a new list he/she subscribes to.

3. If link(s) in email Not Clicked

  • Copy to another list
  • Present a new email campaign
  • Move to a different list
  • Change a field name

This entire process can be confusing but the best way to do this is to plan it out beforehand. I had an issue where subscribers were coming into my list and yet my sequences were not complete, I had missing emails, etc. Plan ahead by literally writing it down on a piece of paper. It's so much easier that way!

In the tests that I have done myself, all were inboxing. If your domain is blacklisted already, it probably won't matter which email responder you use, you'll be marked as spam. If you're starting fresh, you won't have a problem. Just make sure to avoid spammy subject lines and content. Google this and you'll get a big list of what to avoid.

Social Media & Engagement

This one is a biggie and chances are you are not going to use them all. Here are all the tools available for this section:

Let's get into a little more detail with these social tools and what you can do with them.

Facebook Chatbot - This tool allows you to send automated messages when receiving comments on your posts. You can also communicate with your follows in Facebook using this tool. This tool is similar to Manychat which I have used before. However with Manychat you are limited to what you can do with the free plan.

Share Locker - This is an old-school tactic of actually 'blocking' people from your content until they like or shares your page.

Social Proof - Ever see those pop-ups, usually at the bottom left of a site that may say something like "Jeff M just bought..." and so on? This tool allows you to configure something similar on your site or blog.

Sitebot - This tool allows you to create a custom chatbot on your site that can interract with your visitors. This is great for those that would rather have a bot to do the work rather than engaging with your customers on Facebook as a primary means. I've got one on my site here too. Bottom right hand corner - check it out!

Here is a screenshot of the backend of the bot builder. It's pretty much drag and drop and very simple to use. It's not nearly as complex as the one I use so you should pick it up quick - training is provided.

Autopost - This tool allows you to "autopost" content from your website or blog to a predefined Facebook page. Essentially this is just the lazy way to do posting to Facebook whenever you get new content on your blog. It comes in handy so you don't have to do any manual actions. I do love automation!

Roulette - You may have seen this tool on an ecom site before. Essentially you are getting people to play a game where they click to spin a roulette wheel. The roulette wheel will have 'prizes' or discounts with various ranges.

The idea here is to offer a discount and it's also a form of lead generation because it allows you to collect emails. You'll can only use this for your own products obviously so it would not apply to the affiliate marketing model.

Browser Notifications - This app allows you to push notifiications to your customers / visitors of your site provided they have opted in to accept them. You may have noticed this yourself before where you are asked to receive notifications in your browser or not when visiting a site.

You'll be able to customize the look and feel of the notification. You'll be able to check stats which includes total subscribers and can sort them by month or week.

This is what the back-end looks like when sending a notification to your subscribers. You'll include a title, message & url. You can also add an icon.

Instagram Autoresponder -  This recently added tool allows you to automatically reply to your followers comments on your Instagram posts. For example if you are giving away a free ebook, when someone replies something like "I want it" the autoresponder will automatically reply with a link. No need for you do manually do the work which frees up your time to do other things. Have I told you I love automation yet? 🙂

WhatsApp Messaging & SMS Messaging - This tool allows you to send bulk WhatsApp messages and SMS with your own number.  This feature is good if you have an urgent message to be sent out or a big sale or promotion you want to promote.

CRM - Here is where you'll be able to manage all your customers. You can keep sales activity and contact data all in one place.

Script Generator - This tool's purpose is to assist you with sales copy. After reviewing it you can probably get some inspiration from it but I probably wouldn't copy and paste verbatim what this tool generates. You also have to be careful with certain words like "Act Now" or "Make Money" if you're doing email marketing. This can easily trigger a spam event.

Shown below are all the design elements you can incorporate into your marketing.

Magazine Editor - This tool allows you to create a digital magazine. It has a flip-action creation tool which makes it easy to create. Many templates are available to choose from. Here's a sample of the tool and a sample magazine I started.

Mockup Studio -  With this tool you can do a variety of things. You can create e-book covers, info-products and Facebook posts that are attractive looking and attention grabbing.

I created a mockup by taking a screen shot of my site and uploading it into one of the many different template options. I even compressed this image so the original one was much clearer. I'm pretty impressed with this tool although my only complaint was that it was a bit buggy. The result was good though and there's a lot of templates you can use.

Contrast the pic below which is fake compared to a real one I took on my About me page and you'll see just how close this is to being real. My laptop is much uglier too lol.

I've seen Fiverr gigs doing this so perhaps you could easily make your money back and more by offering a gig on to do the same. Just sayin'!

Photo Studio - With this tool you can create attractive looking photos, social media graphics and logos. It's not exactly Photoshop, but not a bad photo editing and graphic design software. It has basic features like Light&Color, Effects, text, watermarks, backround, resizing, etc. It's ok for doing stuff like the above where you can manipulate the backround, size, shape etc.

Animated Videos - With this tool you can make animated videos including sales videos. You are able to design your own characters including expressions. You also have the option to choose from a library of different characters as well.

You can use images in the animations if you prefer. There are similar tools like this out there which are a bit more robust, but considering you won't need to pay for one this should enable you to make some semi-decent animated videos.

Here's what the backend looks like and have an idea what the animated characters look like:

Floating Videos - I don't see this much anymore but do you remember seeing on websites a floating video where you have a someone talking on the site? If this is something you want to incorporate it will need to have a greenscreen backround for it to work in the tool.

An image describes it best as you can see below:

Presentation Studio - This tool allows you to create professional slide show business presentations. It's kinda like Powerpoint but with a little more features. Anyway, if you need something like this, it's there. Full training is provided as well.

Video Wrapper - With this tool you can create short and snappy sales videos. You'd need to either supply your own content or you can find some short free videos on and similar sites. The tool allows you to import these videos and to include text that's tailored to your business or offer.

Video Tag -  This tool allows your to "tag" your videos where a user can click on it to either call, visit a webpage or email.

Traffic Management

Don't worry, this is a short one. Here's what's inside traffic management.

SEO Report - I know a little somethin' somethin' about SEO so I was really curious how this tool would work and what results it would show.

I ran a test with one of the keywords that I rank #1 for in Google to see what would happen. My URL got an A grade. Conclusion - the tool does understand what needs to be present for on-page SEO. However, off-page is another story, it won't help you with that.

This is a very basic tool for on-page SEO and even though I don't agree with all of what it puts out, it's actually a decent guideline to follow.

What you don't see below in the report are the individual findings and suggestions for your page. You'll see this when running the tool yourself so you can just follow those suggestions.

Click Map - This is a tool that pretty much does the same thing as HotJar. If you've ever experimented with that tool you would be able to see where people are clicking on your webpages. It's purpose is to understand what links/images they are clicking so you can better optimize your pages.

Below is an example of what it would look like when you run the tool. Not the "heatmap" areas - that's where people are clicking the most. This of course is a mock-up but you'll get the idea.

Thoughts on All These Tools

No doubt this platform comes with a lot of tools. Some of them, actually most of them you might never use. It's not a bad thing to have them just in case.

Training is available for all these tools and support as well. A lot of these can be found online already but quite a few are paid. So in essence you're getting some tools for free without having to pay for them. Whether you need them or not is another story.

What I think of Builderall 3.0

No doubt, it's much better than its predecessor. I will say though that I feel they are trying really hard to impress you by offering so many tools - most of which you don't need.

I found the training at times to be a little lacklustre. Some of the trainers are great, others just seem to review the application rather than actually provide any good explanation or training. It's a hit and miss.

The good thing is that it does save you money because you won't need other things like an autoresponder, video/image tools, editors, webinar software and so-forth.

If you are looking for a cost-effective, all-in-one solution, then i'd say definitely give it a try. You're paying a low fee month to month anyway and you're not locked into a contract. You can cancel anytime if it's not for you.

Get a 7 day Free Trial - you don't even need to whip out your credit card!

How does it Compare to Clickfunnels for Funnel Building?

Clickfunnels is still the king (in my opinion) when it comes to funnel building. However, in a way Builderall isn't really competing with Clickfunnels when you think about it. Builderall just has so many more tools and an all-in-one solution when Clickfunnels is not.

So as far as an all-in-one marketing solution goes, i'm going to give Builderall 3.0 a pass. Mostly because of the low monthly cost coupled with a plethora of tools you get included with no extra fees.

Alternatives To Builderall

Although these don't exactly compete with Builderall I do have a list of some other funnel/page builders you can check out that I have reviewed.

To see the options check out my post here -

If you liked this post, please like, share or comment. Would like to hear your experiences with Builderall if you have the program as well.
