The Modern Millionaires Review: Is This Course Legit or a Scam?

Welcome to my Modern Millionaires review - a digital marketing course created by Chance Welton and Abdul Samad.

I spent well over a week evaluating what the Modern Millionaires has to offer, how much the course will cost you, what software they provide, and if it has value for your money.

My findings are also based on the many online customer testimonials on platforms like Trustpilot, BBB, Google, and more.

So let's dive in and see what the Modern Millionaires have to offer and what's in it for you.

And if I think you should join or not!

What is the Modern Millionaires Course?

The Modern Millionaires teaches you how to build a digital marketing agency from scratch.

You will be trained to help other businesses with lead generation. Typical businesses that you will target are dentists, law offices, plumbers, roofers, etc.

You are provided with both training and the "Leadificsoftware that you can white label. The software that you will be offering to businesses according to both Chance and Abdul, can make businesses an additional 20% - 30% more money each month.

You keep 100% of the profits made by selling the software. The software typically sells for $299 a month.

How Much Money Can you Make With the Modern Millionaires Program?

The Modern Millionaires program claims you can make $10,000 - $30,000 a month in passive income. The money that you make will be paid to you by businesses that "buy" the software provided to you.

This is based on the hypothetical model of having at least 34 paying clients a month at $299.

If you don't get any clients, you don't make any money.

This means you have to hustle, get out there and do cold calling, walk into businesses, hold meetings, close deals, etc. While it is possible to make this kind of money or even more, the effort you put in will depend on your success.

The Modern Millionaires Scam

Is the Modern Millionaires a scam? No. The Modern Millionaires is an online digital marketing course and software created by Chance Welton and Abdul Samad that teaches you how to make money by starting your own digital marketing agency. The goal is to help local businesses with their marketing efforts to make more money.

Some might think it's a scam because they haven't had any results. But it all depends on how much time and effort you put in, just like with any business.

So, I can't say that Modern Millionaires is a scam because in theory, what they offer can work, but success depends on you.

Is Modern Millionaires Legit?

Yes, Modern Millionaires is a legit coaching program.

But what they teach is not new. They teach you how to have your own business helping other businesses succeed. This is a very legitimate business model, and it's one that has been around for years. They did not invent this concept themselves.

TheMMSaaS software that comes with the program is also legit. It includes an App, Email Autoresponders, and Landing Pages, and is able to be white labeled and designed to make local businesses more money by doing automatic follow-ups with their leads. More on this later.

How Much Does the Modern Millionaires Program Cost?

There isn't a simple answer to this question of how much the program costs. This is because they have different pricing tiers or "partner strategies."

All of their pricing includes their "TheMMSaas" software which stands for The Modern Millionaires Software as a Service. The name of the product is Leadific. You are given this software to white label (where you can change the name of the software to whatever you want) and sell it to local businesses for a subscription fee of $299 a month.

Your cost is broken down into 3 choices.

"Do it Yourself" - The MM Saas + Agency Blueprint - $7,995

With this option, you are basically given the software to sell to unlimited businesses and also their training package where you will learn how to run a digital marketing agency helping other businesses. It's a hands-off approach, basically teaching you how to do it yourself. This is the "cheapest" option is for those that don't have the funds for the higher-priced services below.

"Done-With-You" - VIP Saas Agency - $12,995

With this option, all the heavy lifting is done for you. They train you on the software and help you to get clients and more.

"Agency Automated" Turnkey Saas Agency - $19,995

This is their highest-priced option where they provide everything in the "Done-With-You" package and run your business for you. This includes a team of people that will do the work to help get clients and more.

The prices you see above aren't usually what people will pay up-front. They have this "scholarship" program where you can break up the payments over a period of time.

Can You Get a Refund if You Decide to Join?

No, you cannot get a refund. So do not buy into this program if you can't afford to lose your initial investment.

How Do You Join The Modern Millionaires?

There is no buy button for the Modern Millionaires.

Instead, you must book a call. On this call, you will be walked through the entire system. You already know beforehand the costs, so you should have a general idea of how much you can afford.

On the call, they may or may not offer you a lower rate, but one thing guaranteed is that their sales reps are trained to close the deal, so be prepared for some hard selling and get your credit card ready.

Can Beginners Do this Business?

Yes, newbies that have no experience can do this business.

You do not need to have any special skills to learn how to use the software. All training is provided. You will then be able to show your clients how it works. So you don't need to learn to code or anything like that. Everything is shown to you, step by step.

Who Created the Modern Millionaires Course?

The two names behind Modern Millionaires are Abdul Samed and Chance Welton.

Both of them did very well with lead generation after taking a Local Lead generation course.

I couldn't find a Facebook or Instagram account for Adbul Samed. Apparently, there's a soccer player with the same name and lots of others too. So not easy!

Both of these people have created multiple businesses from scratch. Chance is highly active in marketing, whereas Abdul is more along the lines of digital businesses, lead generation, and generating sales.

They complement each other well on this course, and both of their skill sets bring something different to the product.

Is the Modern Millionaires Saas and Coaching Program Worth it?

Besides the ridiculously high prices they are asking, you have to really ask yourself if this is the right business model for you.

If you are the shy, reserved type that would rather sit in front of the computer and not talk to anyone, this is the wrong business for you to get into.

If you'd rather make money online without having to do cold calls, deal with rejection, or worry if you'll ever make back your huge investment, then I suggest you do affiliate marketing or e-commerce instead.

With these business models, you don't need to make cold phone calls, set up in-person business meetings with potential clients, and deal with the uncomfortable of desperately trying to close a sale.

For some, like me, that makes my skin crawl.

That's why I prefer to make money with either affiliate marketing or e-commerce. You don't need to deal with people directly at all.

If this interests you, I have some kick-ass training for you that will cost a fraction of what The Modern Millionaires cost. And - it will be much better suited for your personality.

At the end of the day, it's up to you and what kind of business model best suits you and your lifestyle. If you are willing to take risks and you are the outspoken and extrovert type, then The Modern Millionaire Saas and Coaching may be a great fit for you.

But, if not, I highly suggest you look into either affiliate marketing or e-commerce as possible business models to get started with.

Is Modern Millionaires an MLM?

No, the Modern Millionaires is not an MLM. You are provided with the TheMMSaaS software that you can resell, but it does not follow an MLM model.

The Modern Millionaires Course Content

There are only four numbered modules in this course. Seven modules, if you count the fact that module 3 has been broken down into various 'submodules'.

This may not seem like a whole lot of content, but you will actually be surprised at just how much information each module contains. I am going to try and cover as much of it as I possibly can.

Module 1: The Foundation

In the first module, everything is kept nice and simple. You will learn exactly how to create a business from scratch. If you live in the United States, then there is a decent bit of information on doing your taxes.

The main focus for this module will be on selecting your niche, and setting up your agency website (including buying your domain name). There will also be a decent amount of talk on getting in the right frame of mind for running a business.

Basically, this module is all about giving you the motivation that you need to succeed in an online business.

Module 2: Prospecting and Sales

It is module 2 that starts to show you just how in-depth each of these modules is going to be. In fact, it is so in-depth that I cannot possibly tell you everything included in this module. I will give you an overview, though.

The module is kickstarted with an introduction to what prospecting actually is. Once that is out of the way, you will learn how to research the niche you want to operate in, as well as discover a little bit about how an online CRM works.

The latter part is incredibly important, because your entire business model will be built around prospecting clients and generating leads, and thus you need some way to manage them.

It is then onto talking a little bit about how cold emailing works. This is something that is pretty rare to find in courses like this.

Most skip the whole cold emailing thing, so I do particularly enjoy the fact that Modern Millionaires Course is willing to touch upon more unique ways to generate leads.

You will also learn how to use LinkedIn, how to accept payments, and how to finalize deals with clients that you have picked up.

The course kind of skims over the deal finalization part, which is a shame, because this entire business model does rely on picking up the best clients you can possibly get and turning them into paying customers. This can be difficult if your sales game isn't 'on point'.

Module 3A: Driving Traffic with Google Ads

This is probably where the meat of the course is. In this module, as the name suggests, you will be learning how to use Google Ads to generate traffic.

This is probably one of the most in-depth modules I have ever seen on Google Ads, and the dynamic duo leaves no stone unturned in teaching you exactly what you need to know to generate leads from it. You will also learn about how Google Analytics fits into the puzzle.

Module 3B: Driving Traffic (Facebook)

This module is much the same as the previous module, only this time you are going to be using Facebook Ads to generate leads instead.

Module 3C: Driving Traffic (Lead Nurturing)

The final module brings the previous two modules together. In this one, you will learn how to cultivate those leads and, hopefully, turn them into paying customers.

Module 4: Auto-Pilot

The final module makes everything automated. This talks about hiring staff, training them, etc.

Unlike most other courses where you will probably want to build up your business for a while before automating it, this product recommends that you jump into automation right away so you can start to make money.

What Are Students Saying About The Course?

There are quite a few positive testimonials about actual students making money. In Trustpilot, the average score is 4.4 out of 5, which is quite good.

Here are some of the positive reviews from Trustpilot:

And some testimonials they have published on their own site:

But it's not all roses. I found this scathing review. However, it doesn't look like this person joined but had some very harsh words for them on Trustpilot

To summarize the feedback others are giving about the Modern Millionaires, I would say that overall it is quite positive.

So this can put to rest anyone calling it a scam or illegitimate. However, it's not without risk, because the cost of entry is massive compared to other business models like blogging or affiliate marketing, or even e-commerce. Heck, even starting a YouTube channel is WAY cheaper!

Pros And Cons Of Modern Millionaires

Pros

This course has been put together by a couple of people that have proven that they know how to run a business. This is more than you can say with many similar courses nowadays.

A lot of them have been put together by people that claim to have the experience, but have none of it. As a result, you can't ever really trust what they are telling you.

This is probably one of the most in-depth courses I have seen on running ads and lead generation too. In fact, this course really does contain everything you need to know about building a business around lead generation.

It isn't really lacking on that front, although it does miss a few other elements on running a successful business. More on that soon, though.

I also find that it builds up your knowledge in a decent way. The course is well-structured and incredibly well-presented. It also contains a ton of tips that you would struggle to find anywhere else.

I like this. I like courses that bring something unique to the table, and you genuinely feel as if you are learning something as you progress through the modules.

Cons

The problem is that this course is just way too expensive, while not really offering anything extra value for that money.

There are a couple of bonuses in place, but nothing that really screams that the course is worth almost $8,000, before you spend any money on advertising and this is for the DIY package - the cheapest one available.

This course isn't really about running a business either. It is about generating leads. This means that you are not really going to learn how to build up a business from scratch. You are going to learn how to do everything yourself.

If it was more of a complete course on running a business, then I would probably be dishing out a bit more praise. However, it is a limited course that focuses on one aspect.

Remember; this is a course that only relies on paid ads too. Sure, I understand that this is probably the quickest way to generate leads, but it would have been nice if it could have looked at a few other free methods of generating leads.

It has to do something to justify the price it is asking, right?

Conclusion - Should You Join Modern Millionaires?

Due to the high price tag, it can be incredibly tough to recommend the Modern Millionaires Course.

While in theory, the method behind this training can work, a lot depends on you as with other online business models. If you don't put in the effort you will not succeed.

The ones that do well with this type of business are extroverts and those that like to talk to people (in this case business owners) that are not afraid of rejection. And believe me, you will face a lot of rejection. When I started my SEO agency I faced this a lot. That's why I switched to affiliate marketing and e-commerce because I didn't have to cold call or ask business owners for money up-front.

So if you can pony up the money, and you won't put yourself in a bad situation if you can't pay it off, then you might want to consider the Modern Millionaires.

But if that freaks you out, you should consider other options.

    • Hi Kerri, glad to hear it! And yes, that is a lot of money and totally unnecessary to get some solid training. Thankfully there are other options!
