Ryan Hogue Passive Income Review: Is His Course any Good?

Ryan Hogue may not be the biggest name in the world of internet marketing, but he is one of only a few people who I have really seen try to prove how much he makes.

In this Ryan Hogue review, we are going to take a little look at what he brings to the table.

Who is Ryan Hogue?

There are a lot of people in the internet marketing world that make ridiculous claims about the millions they are making. Ryan doesn't.

This is a guy that started his passive income journey a few years ago. He makes no secret of the fact that he isn't earning millions. Instead, he is making enough that puts his income at somewhere around the point of a well-paid job.

One of the things that I love about Ryan is the fact that every month, without fail, he posts his income report to his blog. He shows you where he is making money. You will find the exact figure.

He is easily clearing a few thousand dollars each month, which isn't too shabby. Obviously, this guy isn't a millionaire, but he is clearly at least a little successful with his work.

Is Ryan Hogue a Scam?

Nope. He isn't. He is the only guy who doesn't say that you are going to make a ton from his courses. He just wants to teach you passive income techniques, and that is exactly what you get.

I would say his courses are a little bit on the expensive side for somebody that isn't making money hand over fist, but at least he isn't making anything a secret. His courses are all priced at $997, but come down to $497 when they are on sale...which is almost constantly.

In the following sections, I want to take a look at the courses that this guy currently offers. Just as a note; all of the course names are prefaced with Ryan's Method because, I would assume, it is to indicate that it is his ultra-secret method that nobody else has access to.

Since I can't type 'Ryan's Method: ' constantly before every single course name, you can just imagine it is there!

Amazon FBA

This is the seven-step process that took Ryan from nothing to becoming a massive seller through Amazon FBA. Here, you are going to learn how everything about Amazon FBA works.

You will learn about sourcing products. You will learn about pricing. You will learn about marketing. Since this is where Ryan makes the vast majority of his cash, if there was one course of his I recommended, it would be this one.

This is a complete beginners course, so you will really learn everything. It is probably one of the more complete Amazon FBA courses out there, but the problem is that price. Even when it is discounted, you can be left wondering whether it is worth it. That is the same for the rest of the courses I am going to discuss!

Amazon Merch

Honestly. After reading this guy's income reports, I wouldn't trust any of his Amazon Merch courses. The guy makes a few dollars every single month. He would make more selling just one of these courses than he would in an entire year through Amazon Merch.

So, I would probably give it a skip if I were you. However, if you were to take him up on this course offer then you would be learning how the Amazon Print on Demand service works and how you can turn this into cash.

Now, I have no idea whether Ryan made a lot of money on Amazon Merch in the past. I haven't read all of his passive income reports, but he certainly is not making any now and, for that reason, i'd take a pass.

Dropshipped Print on Demand

I suppose this course is pretty similar to Amazon Merch. You are going to learn how to dropship items that you are printing elsewhere (books, t-shirts, mugs, that sort of thing).

Once again, Ryan is making a lot of money in this area. This means that I am probably going to trust this information more than the Amazon Merch course. That being said, he probably moved on over to Dropshipped Print on Demand instead of Amazon Merch.

It probably made him a bit more money, and you should only really focus on one similar business model, right?

KDP

This teaches you about Kindle Direct Publishing. Again, this guy is not really making stacks and stacks of cash from KDP, so I am probably not going to suggest that you hand your money over to him for this course.

One would assume that throughout KDP, you will learn how to produce books to sell on Amazon. This would be through outsourcing. However, this isn't really a method that Ryan has perfected, so it is simply untrustworthy.

I know firsthand that you can make a lot of money through KDP, but there are cheaper and better courses that are going to help you out here.

Stock Marketing Investing 101

In this course, you will learn how to invest in the stock market. Since I have absolutely no idea how much Ryan makes from his stock investments, I am going to say that you should be giving this one a skip too.

It seems as if he has just thrown together a course to round out his list of passive income courses. There are so many investing courses out there, and I don't think you should be buying one of them from someone that doesn't specialize in stock investing. Makes sense?

Conclusion

Ryan started so well when I began this review. However, as I dove deeper into the courses he offered, I realized that he is only sharing methods that are probably not working all that great for him.

When at least 2 of his courses cost more than he would earn in an entire year from the money he gained from those methods, do you really want to follow them?

If you must give it a go, do that at your own risk but these are my final thoughts.
