What I'll give him, having watched a lot of these launches, is that his positioning is more grounded than most. Here's where I have to be straight with you. The sales page shows six glowing five-star testimonials from named people who supposedly "shipped by Day 3" inside "the live room." The problem is logical: this is the first time the masterclass has ever run, so nobody could have gone through this live program yet. The page even says, a few sections up, that you're "not trusting a testimonial, you're making the case study" — and then shows you a wall of testimonials. Those two things can't both be true.

My read is that these are illustrative or drawn from some earlier beta, not results from the cohort you'd be joining. That doesn't mean the method can't work — I think it can — but I'd give those specific testimonials no weight, and I'd be a little annoyed at their inclusion in what's otherwise a fairly honest pitch. Now, in fairness — and this matters — Sean discloses the upsell himself, up front, in his FAQ. His exact framing is that a continuation you didn't know about isn't a continuation, it's an ambush, and he says the masterclass is complete without it. I appreciate that, and it's more honest than most launches that spring the big-ticket offer on you with no warning.
