One of the most difficult parts of building up a brand new affiliate website is the actual building the website part. While the process can be simple once you have a bit of experience under your belt, it is difficult when you are new.
In fact, most people new to affiliate marketing will fail at the first hurdle. This is why I decided to write a Human Proof Designs review.
I wanted to check whether HPD was a good place for new affiliate marketers to head to and buy a ready-made site.
What is Human Proof Designs?
Human Proof Designs is a company created by Dom Wells (more on him in a short while)
The company has its hands in several different pies. However, their main business is selling affiliate websites. Readymade ones, or custom-designed ones. Basically, you can think of Human Proof Designs as a web design company for affiliate marketers.
These are full websites too. They will do SEO, write articles for you, install plugins for you. Pretty much everything. On top of this, there will be some tutorials on taking your business to the next level.
Dom Wells - Creator of Human Proof Designs
Human Proof Designs was launched in 2013 by Dom Wells. Before that, he had a few successes and failures in the world of affiliate marketing.
However, I cannot possibly tell you how much success he had. It seems that the majority of his cash comes from Human Proof Designs.
Dom claims that he nailed the formula for creating quality affiliate websites that make a ton of money, and he wanted to share that with the world rather than build his own websites.
To be honest, I don't think he really came up with some awesome formula. He just has a lot of staff working for him that know what they are doing. They are generic affiliate sites that use methods that have been proven to make money e.g. through choosing the right products, SEO, and quality articles.
What Are The Benefits of Buying an HPD Site?
The main benefit of buying a Human Proof Designs website is that pretty much everything that you need to have a successful affiliate marketing website is 'done for you'. It saves hours, and depending on the package that you buy, months and months of time. It is really that simple.

So, they can do pretty much everything required to start an affiliate website up. This is where the benefit is. Saving time on something that has an incredibly strong chance of making you some money. There is a reason why this company has worked with well over a thousand people.
However, do bear in mind that as with all affiliate marketing methods, you have no guarantee that you will make money. However, the experience of Human Proof Designs means that you have more chance than if you tried to do everything yourself as a newbie.
What Sites Does HPD Provide?
One of the brilliant things about Human Proof Designs is that they have six different types of websites that you can choose from.
Each of them comes in at a different price point, although you do have to bear in mind that the cost of them is not going to be cheap. I am going to talk a little bit more about that in the pros & cons section, though.
Ready-Made Niche Sites - Start at $1,298
This is the route that I reckon most of the people that use Human Proof Designs will go down. Here, HPD will choose a niche for you and build a small website around it. This means you get some content and a basic bit of marketing.
Custom Made Niche Sites - Start at $1,298
I am one of those people that firmly advocates for starting a niche website that you have an interest in. As a result, this package may be right for you. The team at HPD will create a website that is perfectly tailored to your interests. This will mean that you have a long-term motivation to continue to build up your website.
Aged Sites - Starting at $1,797
With this option, we are starting to get into the options that could make you a bit of cash quickly. All of the sites available here were created at least 6-months ago. As you probably know, this is vital if you want to climb up the search engines quickly.
You need a site that is aged. So, if you do end up going with HPD and can spare a few hundred extra dollars, then go down here.
Revenue Generating Starter Websites - Start at $2,297 and go all the way over $10,000
This package for those that are not afraid to splash the cash. All of the websites that you find listed under these packages have been proven to make money. In fact, they have all made money in the last year or so. Of course, the more cash the website has made, the more you will have to pay for it.
Supreme Sites - Starting at $2,999
These sites are mid-sized. They are loaded with a lot more content than the basic niche package. You get extra bits and pieces added to make it easier to rank in the searches.
Authority Sites - Starting at $5,400
These are the sites that you should be going to if you are planning for the long-term. You get a lot of content here spread over a major niche. This is a great route to go down if you want to only ever be working on one website for your affiliate marketing career.
Should You Build Your Own Site or Go With Human Proof Designs?
This is the big question. This is because you see it from two different points of view.
On one hand, going with Human Proof Designs is great.
On the other, you should probably build your own site. Let me run you through arguments for them both.
If you are aware of how to qualify a niche and then buy a pre-made site from HPD then it's not a bad idea.
If this concerns you, then I suggest you get the proper affiliate marketing training first because the foundation is just so important to succeed. Building a site isn't as difficult as it seems, especially with all the amazing wordpress themes available. You don't need to do any coding, just plug in the content and media.

Why Build with Human Proof Designs?
All of the work is going to be done for you. Quite literally the hardest part is building up your initial website, and you get a decent amount of starter content here. If you are willing to put in the effort, you could even do a little bit of research into why the site is actually successful. This means that you can hit the ground running with your affiliate marketing career.
The method used to build these sites provably works too, and thus money can roll in quickly. There is no guarantee that you will make the money that you invested back, but you will likely earn something.
Why Build your Own Website?
In my opinion, if you want to learn affiliate marketing properly, then you need to do things yourself. You need to have success. You need to have failures. If you don't, you can't run a successful business.
You won't get things right with your first affiliate site, and this is fine. You adapt, and you learn how to make a better website in the future. It's worth it in the end.
This is how I enjoy making my affiliate sites. I end up making more money because I do have those failures and can tinker with the business model that I am using.
Remember, if you build, up your own website, you will have a lot more control over things. If you go with HPD, you have to go by the method that they have used. This can make it immensely difficult to expand your website later on down the line.
Of course, you will also save thousands of dollars if you build up your own website. Well, at least in the early days.

So, let's run through the pros and cons together. Hopefully, this will help you to decide whether Human Proof Designs is the route for you to go down or not.
Conclusion
Human Proof Designs is not for everybody. I actively do encourage people to try and build their own affiliate marketing website from scratch at least once.
However, if you want to take the easy path and get a decent affiliate site in your portfolio before you go out there and experiment, then I reckon you should go down the route of Human Proof Designs.
It isn't cheap., but their sites will probably end up making you a little bit of money.
