Product Review Profits Review: Amazon Influencer Course by Jared Bauman & Authority Hacker

Drew here. Thinking of buying the Products Review Profits course taught by Jared Bauman and hosted by Authority Hacker? Well, I bought it and today I am going to tell you what I think about it and if you should get it too.

First off, you are probably thinking, I am not an "influencer" so how can I possibly be accepted into Amazon's Influencer program? What you should know is that the course will teach you how to get into the program with minimal effort. More on this later.

But for now, let's just dive into this course to see what it's all about and of course give you my thoughts on it.

Who is Jared Bauman?

Jared is the founder and CEO of 201Creative.com.  He helps small and medium sized businesses grow through online efforts from SEO, to social media and email marketing. He's been an entrepreneur for 25 years and has sold multiple companies. So yes, he's very qualified to teach this course.

In just a year, Jared was able to make over $40,000 on the Amazon Influencer program. He didn't need any fancy equipment, just his phone, a tripod and a neck mount for his phone. 

How did he do it?

He filmed quick 1 to 5 minute videos of products he already has in his house. He just gave an overview of the product, showing what it looks like, how he likes it, maybe even a small critque as well. And the best part - he never shows his face, and neither do you!

The products don't even need to be purchased on Amazon. As long as it is available on Amazon, you can make a video on it.

How Do You Make Money?

You make money when people watch your videos. Your videos will show on the product page on Amazon, normally near the bottom where the reviews are. You may have seen influencer videos already. If someone makes a purchase after watching your video, you'll get a commission. It's all tracked for you in your dashboard so you can see your income and progress.

How much you can make depends on how often your videos are watched and how many videos you make. More is better in this case. Also, seasonality dictates this as well, becuase you obviously won't sell many ice skates in summer as you would winter.

As mentioned before, Jared has made 40K in his first year doing this simple process. Some of his students have made even more.

Who is This Course For?

Product Review Profits is just about for anyone that wants to make at least $100 a day or more on a perfect side hustle. It takes very little time to do and ANYONE can do it.

You don't need to go on camera so if you're shy, there's no worry here. You will need to speak though, but Jared has a great coaching lesson on how to talk to keep people interested.

It's also perfect for absolute beginners. You don't need editing skills because there is minimal editing required and Jared even shows you some free software you can download to your phone to do simple edits. So, you don't need to be a tech nerd at all.

So, if you have a phone with a decent camera, or even an actual camera that records video in at least 720p, you are good to go. As I said, ANYONE can do this - it takes very little time so even if you have a hectic schedule whether you are juggling two jobs or balancing work with family commitments, you can still find a few minutes to shoot some quick videos and bank some decent money. 

Do I Need to be an "Influencer" Already to Get Accepted into The Amazon Influencer Program?

No! I think many people think you need a social media following to do this. And while that definitely helps, the course actually teaches you how to get accepted into the Influencer program. This is done by showing you how to set up a TikTok account and making short videos on just about any topic, inluding pets like your dog or cat.

While you do need to show Amazon that you have an active account with followers and engagement, the course covers this and helps you to get accepted. I was quite surprised how easy this was - I was assuming you'd have to go on camera or something but you do not.

What's in the Product Review Profits Course?

As I mentioned already, I bought the course and completed all the training. Inside you will find a total of 33 lessons totalling 3 hours and 22 minutes. There are 6 modules in total.

The lessons are carried out by Jared Bauman himself and there is one module on how to create a social media account from scratch which is used to help you get into the Amazon Influencer program. This is taught by one of the guys from Authority Hacker.

As for the lessons, it's all video based and a combination of Jared speaking on camera and over-the-shoulder lessons on his computer as well. He even shows you actual videos that he made that are live on the Amazon platform today.

The lessons are fairly quick, so you won't be spending eons going through this course. It's not going to take up a lof of your time. The shortest video was a minute and 31 seconds and the longest was just over 18 minutes. You can complete the course in a day if you want - so you can start making videos asap.

What I Liked About the Product Review Profits Course

• First off, it's not about the course itself but the simplicity of the Amazon Influencer program. It's just so easy. Find a product in your home that's available for purchase on Amazon, write a script and just film a quick 1 to 5 minute review on it. 
• I like Jared's style of teaching. He's very easy to listen to and teaches in a way that's easy to understand.
• The course can be completed in one or two days and you can start making money almost right away - no need to wait months for a blog post to start ranking!
• Since the traffic is supplied by Amazon, you don't need to find ways to get traffic so there was no need for a traffic module!
• The examples of the many different product reviews that Jared made were pure gold. I found this to be the best resource of the course and the most helpful.
• It's also a unique way to make money online, which is something that is just starting to take off so I would jump on it immediately, like I did already.
• It can help you make a good side income or even help you quit your job. Some of Jared's students are making 5 figures a month on this. Crazy!
• You are given an AI tool that helps you write a script for your videos. Just copy and paste the information from the product page on Amazon into the tool and voila, you have a perfectly written script. Tweak it to your liking and you're done. You don't need to guess what to say in your videos.

What I Didn't Like About the Product Review Profits Course

It's a bit on the pricey side to be honest. However, with the amount of money you could potentially make, the course can pay for itself pretty quickly. It's hard to find other faults. Maybe it could have been a bit longer? I am just used to long courses that take me a week or more to go through. I guess I need to just accept the fact that a course doesn't need to be long to be good!

Final Thoughts

I think this can be a game-changer for many. You don't need to quit your job to do this and you don't need to dedicate a ton of time either. I would say maybe 20 minutes for each video which would include editing and uploading - once you get the hang of it.

In fact, I liked this course so much that I have already got my Influencer account set up and will start making review videos very shortly to upload.

I have been in the internet marketing space for more than a decade now and have seen many opportunites come and go. This one I think is something that is going to stay around. Afterall, Amazon is the biggest marketplace in the world. And, you can be a part of it.
