Ready Made Stores Review | Does This Actually Work?

Review of ready made stores

If you have been considering the idea of making an online store, then you may have stumbled across a product called 'Ready Made Stores', it is wildly popular, and it tends to get a ton of advertising.

On this page, I want to talk to you a little bit about what this product brings to the table, as well as whether it is worth it for you. So, without further ado, let's jump into this Ready Made Stores review, shall we?

What is Ready Made Stores?

Ready Made Stores is a product that claims it does all of the hard work for you in setting up an online store. This means that it potentially does:

  • Niche research
  • Populates your store with popular products
  • Designs the site for you
  • Does initial SEO
  • Offers limited marketing support

Essentially, Ready Made Stores is a system that claims you do not need to put any effort into starting up an online store. You pay them to put together the store, and all you really need to do after that is market it, and even then, they are going to be able to provide you will help on that front. This includes assistance with social media.

The Pricing

The pricing for Ready Made Stores varies depending on the type of site that you are trying to set up. Some niches will cost a little bit more. The average price does seem to be somewhere around the $500 mark, although there are sites that are drastically cheaper and more expensive than that too.

Do bear in mind that you will be buying a 'fresh' store. It will not have any traffic heading to it, which means that you will need to invest a sizeable sum of cash in marketing too. This is easily going to set you back a few thousand dollars before you start to see an income from the site.

The PROS of Ready Made Stores

  • Perhaps the biggest positive is that there really isn't that much you need to do in order to get your online store up and running. Absolutely everything will be done by Ready Made Stores.
  • Your product selection. Your site design. Everything. This means that it is probably one of the fastest ways to get a store up and running.Since Ready Made Stores uses dropshipping for the product selection, you do not even need to think about sourcing the products and shipping them out.
  • This is one of the most hands/off ways to run a business. The only thing that you need to be focusing on to get people through the door is marketing. While this company is not going to be able to the marketing for you (short of basic SEO set-up on your site), they do provide you with a ton of resources that will make your life easier, as well as provide you with access to marketing experts.

The CONS of Ready Made Stores

  • The problem with Ready Made Stores is that it is ridiculously hands-off. Since everything is going to be done for you, with little input on your part, you are not actually learning how to build an online store. Instead, you are just having everything handed to you.

While I have not personally experienced this, I have read a few reviews from some people who claim that their business was snatched away from them. This is, obviously, not a good thing because you are not getting a refund on your purchase, and you have no business left to speak of.

You can see what other complaints were made about ReadyMadeStore.com on Trustpilot. Currently 68% is favorable while 21% think they are "bad."

These sites are also not really the best-converting sites in the world either. If you understand business, then you will know just how important it is to be able to split test your site. It is the only way to be able to see what converts better for you.

You do not have the opportunity to do that with Ready Made Stores. You just have to trust they know what they are talking about and, honestly, based on some of the reviews I have read, they really do not know what they are talking about most of the time.

To cap it all off, if Ready Made Stores disappears, then your business is going to disappear.

You do not technically own your website, because your site being up is going to be at the absolute whim of Ready Made Stores. As with any business, they could go out of business overnight. You would lose everything. Surely, you would be better off with a little bit of control, right?

What You Should be Doing

If you want an eCommerce store, then do it yourself. Use a platform such as Shopify to build your online store, or even self-host if you want to save yourself a little bit of cash. Yes. It is going to take a lot more effort to do this. However, it is all part of the learning experience.

You really shouldn't be in business if you are not willing to put the effort in.

If you aren't willing to make your own website, then eCommerce is not for you.

Conclusion and Final Thoughts

As you can see: I do believe that Ready Made Stores could genuinely be useful for some people. However, I feel as if the uses of this platform are exceedingly limited.

As brilliant as it would be to have everything done for you, you are actually far, far better off doing everything yourself.

That way you end up with a website that is completely unique to what you want and, ultimately, that is what is going to be making you a lot more cash in the long run.

  3. Hi Drew,
I would just like to thank you for your honest report on ready made stores, as I was also thinking about purchasing one for myself.
I live in Cape Town South Africa so needed to do as much research into this as possible, as scammers are constantly targeting us for our hard earned money.
As a result of your review on this subject I’m no longer going to Pursue this business opportunity.
    Thank you 🙏🏻
    Kind Regards

    • You’re welcome, Greg. Ready Made Stores is definitely not a scam, but I just think you’re much better off starting from scratch and learning the business from its foundation up.

  4. Drew,
You promised a drop shipping cheat sheet but upon putting my email address to download the cheat sheet nothing showed up. Is this a mistake or what?

  5. I am managing a ready-made store and in fact, it is very limited in all aspects of eCommerce. Ecommerce goes far beyond uploading products and running adverts on google and social media. You only have to use the theme they give you, you cant tweak and edit the website to make it more responsive or even build your brand with it. You have no option but to work with the site as it was handed over to you when you made the purchase.

Any time I open the admin dashboard, the only thing I do is to import products and make some social media post.

If you want peace of mind and a better deal, stay out of ready-made stores. there are other great dropshipping technologies out there.
