Work:

I just finished building The 2026 AI Business Blueprint - a $47 course teaching 5 business models you can launch with AI doing the grunt work. Took me 3 months to build from scratch. It's live on Gumroad and I'm figuring out the launch marketing as I go.

I'm also running an SEO recovery project across drews-review.com - and it's actually working. Google's algorithm updates crushed my traffic in 2024. I spent months systematically updating pages with better content, proper schema, and fixed metadata. Mid-April the traffic started coming back. Hard. Organic traffic went from 3.5K to 14K+ in two weeks. I'm watching it like a hawk to see if it holds or if Google changes its mind again.

On the AI side, I'm deep into testing AI video tools for my YouTube channel. I've reviewed InVideo AI, Pictory, Lumen5, Fliki, Crayo, Synthesia, VEED, Kapwing, and Descript. The goal is to finish the "Script/Blog-to-Video" category before doing a roundup video.

I'm also building out my lead magnet - pivoted from multiple freebies to one unified AI cheat sheet: "5 Businesses You Can Start with AI Today." Conversion rates will tell me if that was smart or not.

Life:

Still running my morning routine - coffee, workout, then straight into deep work before emails and meetings eat the day. I've learned I get about 4 good hours of focus time before my brain turns to mush, so I protect those hours hard.

I'm reading less business books and more fiction lately. Turns out staring at course modules and SEO dashboards all day makes you crave stories that have nothing to do with conversion rates.

Travel's picked back up. Nothing crazy - just bouncing between a few cities I like instead of being stuck in one spot. Laptop + coffee shop still hits different than laptop + home office.
