Aleric Heck Review: Is His Training Worth it or a Scam?

It is rare that I get to review somebody who is genuinely successful on YouTube here. Most of the people I review tend to be those who claim that they are successful, but not often do they provide any concrete proof.

Aleric Heck boasts a YouTube following bordering on half a million subscribers. You may have seen a few of his videos before...so, let's dive into who he is in this Aleric Heck review.

Who is Aleric Heck?

I don't know much about Aleric's life. Well, at least his early life. He isn't one of those entrepreneurs who is trying to sell you a product based upon how he grew up poor and became rich. His whole story is much more humble. He started a YouTube channel for his friends. It randomly exploded in popularity, and that is why it is now his fulltime job.

Aleric runs a YouTube channel called 'AppFind' which is, essentially, a channel dedicated to reviewing cellphone apps, with a heavy focus on the Apple side of things.

As I said before; this guy is coming up to 500,000 viewers.

It is actually the largest app channel on YouTube. He does throw a few videos up every so often dedicated to building websites and some hardware reviews, but most of it will be app reviews.

This guy is likely making a lot of cash on YouTube. While I can't find any details about his actual income, I wouldn't be surprised if he was turning over 5 figures a month. Most of his posts are paid promotions, and we know how lucrative they can be if you are an influencer in a certain niche.

He's also got his own Youtube Channel aptly named Aleric Heck. This channel is a spring board for his "AdOutreach" product which teaches you to leverage Youtube Video Ads.

It is worth noting that all of this was accomplished when Aleric was still a teenager. He finished school, while building up his YouTube channel. There are very, very few influencers who have done this.

Most of them had either finished school before launching their channel, or gave up on their education to pursue their interests. In my opinion, this actually shows that Aleric is sensible.

At the time, he didn't know that he would be able to maintain his channel for the foreseeable future, so he opted to get more education so he knew that he would be able to make a living should his YouTube channel go a bit wrong.

So, how does this all influence the way in which you make money online? Well, Aleric actually boasts a product you can use, but more on that soon.

Advertising Business

When Aleric left school, he continued to build up the AppFind YouTube channel, however, he also tried to put his YouTube knowledge to use in other areas. Nowadays, in addition to running his AppFind YouTube channel, he also works closely with a plethora of different businesses to help them build up their YouTube advertising.

A lot of these are doing it to great success to, which does lead me onto talking about the part of Aleric's business model that you can get involved with.

AdOutreach

Aleric runs a program called AdOutreach. Although, if you think it is going to teach you how to run a YouTube channel that is as successful as Aleric's, then you have another thing coming. This is a course that teaches you how to use YouTube for advertising purposes.

Remember; Aleric is an influencer. It means that he has seen YouTube from all angles. He is an advertiser, and people advertise with him. This means that he has solid knowledge that he can use in order to put together the courses that he offers.

I wouldn't say that AdOutreach is a course, though. It is more along the lines of you working with an agency to devise an advertising strategy for YouTube. Of course, if you want to be successful on AdOutreach, you are going to need to have a rather large advertising budget available. A good few thousand dollars, in fact.

There is free training available on AdOutreach but, as you may have guessed, the bulk of this training is designed to funnel you through to the Adoutreach strategy planning. So, he wants you to spend money. But hey, this is a guy who knows his funnels, he is one of the leading people using Clickfunnels right now.

So, does his training work?  This is a guy who really knows his stuff when it comes to advertising online. There are proven client success stories working with him too.

So, while he is not going to be teaching you what he knows best (i.e. growing a YouTube channel), he will be able to teach you techniques that you can use to your advantage with other parts of your business.

Working with AdOutreach is going to be a lot more affordable than working with some of the massive marketing companies too, which is always going to be a plus.

The Future of Aleric Heck

Since he is not uploading videos at the same frequency that he used to on his AppFind channel, Aleric has found more time for other business ventures.

He has recently talked a little bit about how he is planning to take his business forward in the future. Of course, he will still be working on AppFind, but he will also be focusing on other aspects of his income.

YouTube ads are still where it is at, he claims. However, he is also looking into expanding into a few other advertising networks. Since he has achieved a lot of success with YouTube ads, I am not surprised that he wants to see if he can use the knowledge to be successful elsewhere.

I have no idea if this is a service that he is going to be offering to his clients at the start, but it is certainly something that he is going to be doing on his own for a while.

All in all, if Aleric does share information with you, it is information that you can trust. This is a guy who really does know what he is doing. He has proven success in the industry, after all.

  1. Yes I watched this webinar and it sounded all very enticing at the beginning. So I booked a call and then the next morning they said it was canceled but that I could buy into their AI ad system at the Lolo price of only 1997 dollars marked down from 3500. But no mention of a call which they said they wanted to give me an hour long phone call. I think I should call him up and pretend like I’m going to buy their system just to glean as much information out of them as possible before letting them down. After seeing all these reviews it doesn’t sound like something I would buy into even if I had the money. I did download their PDF for free so perhaps I can clean some information out of there that would help me. Yes every program out there acts like they are really want to help you out cuz they’re just so loving caring individuals who really want to help you succeed. But I’ve bought into a couple of different affiliate systems and they all turn out to be pretty much BS. You follow their system and it never works but it worked for them because they got your money out of your pocket. Terrible terrible terrible

    • Thanks for your feedback Drew. Just to let everyone know this is a different Drew M., small world!

    • Robert if you think his ads are annoying you should see the unlisted ad campaigns he tried running on Youtube that never performed well. Like the ones where he tries his hand at comedy dressing up as Santa Claus and an astronaut. He’s a clown. I would never even think of buying anything from him knowing that his strategy is to put himself in your face 24/7, even if you don’t want to see him. He’s as cringey and annoying as a single person can possibly get.

  2. Not even sure how I stumbled upon this, but I’m in Aleric’s program and had exactly the opposite experience. It’s been the best business decision I ever made in 40 years of self-employment. His team is the most devoted, caring, smart people I’ve ever met. I had 8x ROI within the first month. Highly recommend.

  3. We did invest also in Aleric’s coaching program, and we had a terrible experience as well. When our team was attending his zoom calls they group had no time for me. Their funnel coaches are terrible and I think that is where their system breaks down. I believe their youtube guys are good but they don’t know marketing at all just youtube. Also when I was on their calls for several months in 2021 there were many people struggling as well. Aleric is making money now but if he does not correct his ways he will face serious problems very soon.

    • Thanks for your feedback Michael, let’s hope he gets those issues addressed because that’s not good!

  4. Unfortunately this has been the most disappointing and frustrating experience we’ve ever invested in as business coaches. With the economy the way it was last year it was a huge risk and leap of faith to invest $10,000 in this program. Aleric webinarr and the person we had a sales call with were great but that’s where it all ended.

We have spent $10K in the past with other various coaching programs but at least with other companies it paid off handsomely for the time, money and work we put in and we got results and real support, (Like doubling to quadrupling our money back.)

We have nearly 3 months since we started with adoutreach (which maybe should be renamed bad outreach) without a booked call or one sale even though we have implemented everything the videos taught and their ads are up and running on YouTube but not converting. People are landing on the webinar page and not registering at all but on Facebook we use same stuff and it converts to webinar registrations very well.

Their ads and webinars show you all these booked calls you’re going to have. It would be nice to have at least one after all this time and investment.

Ad outreach’s whole spiel and webinar is how they’re better and how YouTube is better than Facebook for businesses. We have not seen that to be the case at all.

The lack of communication, leadership, and unity amongst from the 4 guys was so evident as they sent us in circles, one guy’s email instructions contradicted the other guys.

If one of our own coaching clients was this unhappy and having this hard of a time we would and have gotten on a call with our own clients. This did not seem like an option as it was never offered or thought about or cared about from them.

Then you run out the clock for the 10week program and they want to upsell you into another high level program for better results when we received ZERO results to begin and end with.

I feel like this company and Aleric just spends a lot of money on ads on Facebook and YouTube to reel you in as a customer, close you on an hour sales call, take your hard-earned money, and dont deliver anything except empty promises or even give care or support or a phone call. With how bad it was going for us and how many times we emailed them we should’ve at least gotten three phone calls, one would think, in these 10 weeks.

No human touch or real concern for our success, growth, or livelihood or business except here “figure it out yourself” with an email or with his videos for $10,000

It seems like Entitled young people who want to take the most amount of money from you and give the least amount of effort, customer support, or results to you in return.

Again an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience. Worst Coaching, course, and customer service experience we’ve ever had of our entire coaching career. That is how I feel about all this. Their actions moving forward will either prove or disprove this. I hope they make this more than right and good. We deserve it for all we’ve been through for 12 weeks.

Unless I update this review, and you’re considering hiring them, please do yourselves a favor, save yourself time, money, frustration, heart ache, and disappointment. Please stay away from this company and look for another. Check out their reviews if you can. Not just the ones the company gives you to convince you to hire them. Please learn from our mistakes and Do your due diligence. Thank you and good luck to you. 1/27/21

    • Hi Adeena, thanks for your input and sorry to hear you had this level of trouble. It’s a bit surprising for something that costs that much.
