Dropship Unlocked Review: UK eCom Course by Lewis Smith

Welcome to my Dropship Unlocked review. This course has been created primarily for residents of the UK.

Lewis Smith promotes some free training on his channel. I decided to take it and then see what the next step is.

The next step sure isn't free. Read on to see what you get if you decide to jump into his coaching. Spoiler alert - it ain't cheap!

Let's jump right in.

Dropship Unlocked Update

I wanted to see what Lewis Smith has been up to lately since it's been a while I wrote this review. So, I first checked out his Youtube Channel.

Interesting enough, he's got a ton of testimonial videos of random people all touting his course. I found this rather odd because Simon Vernon who is another UK dropshipper is doing the same thing. Are they collaborating together?

The "reviews" or "testomonials" by these people are hilarious. You can see them reading a script. It's so obvious and bad. It's hard to say if they actually bought the course or if they are paid actors. You're welcome to make that judgement yourself.

It looks like it was created by the same graphic artist, just swapped colours and a few slight tweaks.

Is Dropship Unlocked Still Available?

Apparently yes. If you subscribe to the free training, you'll watch a free video and at some point you'll be pitched to buy the course.

It's hard to say if the course has been updated or not. There's just not much information about it on their Youtube channel. Just some cheesy reviews.

What is Dropship Unlocked?

Dropship Unlocked is a course aimed at the UK market. It is centered on dropshipping, as the name suggests.

Unlike other dropshipping courses, you aren't going to be learning how to sell the smaller, cheaper items. Instead, Smith is going to try and teach you how to sell the big ticket items. 

The ones that you probably won't be selling all that often but, when you do see a sale, the sale should be large enough to cover you for days and days without making any cash.

Honestly, to me, it seems like quite a risk to take. However, there are so few people that are dropshipping high-ticket items that it may actually be worth looking into.

The Free Course

The free course is billed as being all that you need to know about making money online through dropshipping. 

However, it isn't. It is more of a way to funnel you through to the final purchase.

That being said, until you buy his 'big' course from him, you aren't really going to feel as if you are being pressured into anything. I actually admit the skills that Lewis has used here.

He seems to know that you can't force people into spending a massive amount of cash.

You may get an odd email every now and then telling you to come and learn more, but he really does make you believe that all you need is the information in his free course. It isn't, but you can live in belief for a little bit.

The Paid Course

You aren't just going to be able to hop onto the paid course. In fact, you have to fill in a rather hefty survey.

In fact, it is 16 pages long. Once you have done this, you will be called by Lewis (or somebody who claims to be Lewis), who will then be on the line for you over the next 45-minutes.

In this time, you will learn more about the course and how the course can help you. He does seem to imply that the course will be tailored to your business needs, but it isn't. 

How much is it?

It is going to cost you over £3,000 to sign up.

He does say that he does not take everybody onto the program, but I don't think I have seen a single person online that has been rejected for this course. If you can pay, you are in.

You won't be able to do all of the course at once. It is split over 6-weeks. I can't say that I am a fan of this model. I do prefer courses that open up right away so that I can jump into bits and pieces that I want to know. I don't want to wake six weeks before I stand a chance of making money.

The paid course is pretty much standard dropshipping fare, just more aimed at the British market. This means covering product selection, setting up your shop, advertising etc.

The Benefits of Dropship Unlocked

I do love the fact that we have a course that is specifically targeted at the British market.

With the vast majority of online courses out there, they are too focused on the US. This means that while you may be able to piece together what you can do with the course in other markets, it does become somewhat of a game as most of the information is not going to be directly relevant to you.

So, if you are British, then Dropship Unlocked is a course that is 100% worth checking out.

I can say that a lot of the information in the course is relevant. It does seem to get useful updates every now and then too, which is absolutely awesome.

I can't say that the updates are going to be that big, but it is good you are going to be getting something for your money.

The Downsides of Dropship Unlocked

Well, the major issue is the cost of the course. Yeah, you are going to get direct mentorship on Dropship Unlocked, but a cost of over £3,000 is way too expensive for what you get.

Not to mention the rigmarole it takes to actually get signed up onto the Dropship Unlocked course.

I really do not think that it is worth it. I think there are going to be far, far better courses out there for you. These courses are going to come in at a far cheaper price than what Dropship Unlocked offers.

In my opinion, there is simply not going to be enough depth on the course either. Lewis is a guy that seems to be able to talk a lot, but is unable to really do much beyond that.

He makes you feel like he is teaching you something, but he really isn't. It is all about the high-pressure sells for you (i.e. boosting upon the cost of Dropship Unlocked)

Conclusion

Is it worth it?  I don't think so. Yeah, it is great that it caters to the British market, but at a cost of £3,000? Nah. Save a bit of cash and tailor a cheaper course to your own needs.

Alternatives to Consider

Paying a lot of money for a course is something that isn't necessary.

I have bought many courses over the years and it's very clear that EXPENSIVE doesn't always mean BETTER when it comes to training.
