Who is Dan Vas?

Dan is new to the internet marketing game (sort-of).

He is in his 20s, and he has been doing this for a while. In that time, he has managed to gain 235K and counting followers on YouTube. He has also produced a few different courses of this nature including the Shopify Freedom course in the past.

To be honest, I do not know how successful Dan is in the world of eCommerce. Obviously, I know that he sells his products online. However, I do not know how much money he is making in eCommerce, or even if he follows the techniques that he teaches in his courses.

It's pretty clear though that he is doing well.

What is Dan Vas Ecom Freedom All About?

Ecom Freedom is a course that will teach you how to build a successful Amazon business from the 'ground-up'.

You are literally told everything that you need to do this. This means guiding you through the signing up on Amazon, through to sourcing your stock, and ultimately making the sales.

This course actually has a big difference from some of the other more recent courses you may have stumbled across. You see, Dan does not use dropshipping in this course. 

Instead, you are going to be buying physical stock and selling it through Amazon Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA). This means that there will be a greater risk when you are selling your products, but the rewards are going to be greater too.

The course is mostly delivered via video, but there are a few PDF documents thrown in for good measure that you can have a look through. However, if you are anything like me, you are going to be picking up the bulk of your information from the videos.

Who is Dan Vas eCom Freedom For?

This is a course designed for anybody that wants to establish a proper business on Amazon.

While I am sure that some of the techniques in this course would be fine if they were applied to other eCommerce ventures, about 90% of the content is dedicated to Amazon FBA, so you need to have some sort of interest in that.

The thing I love about this course is that it can be used to help build up an established business on Amazon. So, if you have a retail outlet, or you have your own website, and you are looking for more ways to sell your stock, then this course may be able to help you.

You will just need to skip the´various sections on finding a wholesaler. 

This is not going to be a product that can help you to get rich quick. This is a product that is going to take a more slow, and calculated approach to making money. This is not a product for those who are not fans of taking a risk.

Is it a Scam?

Nope. Dan is pretty popular in the world of internet marketing. I can't say that all of the products he has produced are great. However, none of his products are a scam.

They are 'proven' methods of making money via eCommerce. Although, to be honest with you, none of these methods are unique. They are more methods anybody with a sense of business would know what to do. The course really just gives you a push in the right direction for those who sort-of know how to make money, but really need a proper guide.

The Cost of Dan Vas eCom Freedom

This is actually one of the cheaper online courses out there. It will set you back $497. I know. I know. It is still a fairly hefty chunk of change, and it is a major decision picking something up like this, but you can rest safe in the knowledge that the course is a bit more affordable than the norm.

You can also spread the payment over two months if you wish, but this will add almost $100 to the price of the course, and it probably isn't going to be worth it.

That being said, I do want to point out that you will need to have more than $497 in your pocket if you want to make a success of this course.

As I said before, there is no dropshipping involved here. You are going to need to get your hands on some proper stock, and this means money. This method only works if you use Amazon paid advertising too so this means even more money. If you do not have $3,000+ to spend on your business right now, then this method is not really going to be for you.

What is in the Ecom Freedom Course?

This is the part where I would normally list the modules on the course. The problem is that there are not any modules as such with this product. Instead, it is an organized course, where you just hop from video to video.

Nothing is really sectioned off. Instead, I am going to try and group some of these subjects under headings, sort-of like a module, so you know what to expect!

Product Research

There is a ton of information on product research here. You are going to learn how to find products that stand a decent chance of selling on Amazon.

You will also learn how to track down suppliers that you will be able to work with. Of course, with the latter, you are going to be directed towards specific wholesalers, but there isn't really anything hindering from you going out there and finding out your own suppliers if you wish.

Creating your account and working with Amazon FBA

These sections start out rather simple. After all, it isn't all that difficult to start an Amazon account. However, working with Amazon FBA and ensuring that you ship everything properly to the Amazon warehouse can be a touch on the difficult side.

This means that the Amazon FBA part of this course can be quite useful. It details everything that you need to know to ensure that your products arrive safely and quickly, which means you can start to make money a bit quicker.

Building a Brand

A lot of the focus of this course is helping you to build a brand for your business. I do not think I have seen another course that focuses so much on this. Building a brand is a great thing. It is how to ensure that you can make as much money as possible. A lot of people do not put a lot of effort into building a brand and their business suffers as a result.

A key part of building your brand on Amazon is attracting reviews on your products, and you will receive a ton of information on how you can do that!

Building Product Pages

These videos will teach you about creating awesome product pages that will convert well. Obviously, this is important if you want to stand a good chance of making money.

Marketing

This course goes into depth on a lot of ways to market your product. This includes Amazon PPC, Facebook, social media and working with influencers etc. This will help you to get traffic to your products as quickly as possible.

This is pretty good, because most other similar courses only have one traffic generation method. However, do bear in mind that all of the traffic sources in this course are paid. There are no free traffic sources detailed.

Is anything else included?

There are a few bonuses thrown in with the product. One of the best of these is the 1-on-1 coaching that Dan offers.

He claims it is unlimited, but never believe words like that. I do not know the extent of the coaching as I have never had to use it, but it is probably going to be the most basic of the basic coaching.

After all, the course barely costs anything. Well, at least in comparison to an actual coach.
