You've seen the ad, now it's time to review CB Passive Income. You haven't clicked the buy button yet have you? Good. Let's dive into this so I can tell you whether or not you should buy Patric Chan's course, currently in version 5.
This course was originally started in 2013 and it's pretty much the same as it is today. It's target market are essentially people looking to make a quick buck without putting in much work. Its sales video on the main page is enticing, and to anyone that is new to marketing I can see how they would fall for it easily.
The way how this simple "done for you" system works is as follows:
- Get your provided squeeze pages
- Send traffic to those pages
- Patric adds them to a list and "sells them for you"
Sounds easy enough right? To some unsuspecting and newbie marketers, they probably are stoked knowing they don't need to make any sales pages or come up with ideas and products to market.
However, if you have ever tried affiliate marketing before, your biggest challenge is getting traffic. Once you have targeted traffic you could sell just about anything.
So when Patric Chan provides you with everything you think you need, it's up to you to complete the hardest task of all - getting traffic.
This means you're either going to have to be an SEO expert and rank in a short period of time or pay for Solo Ads, Facebook or Google ads to get traffic.
Anyone with common sense would now get it and realize it's not such a great deal afterall.
More to this, when Patric has your customer's email address, who knows what he will do with it after? Perhaps he will put them in his own campaigns and leave you out completely. Not saying he would do this but it is possible.
So as you can see, this is not at all a favorable position to be in. In fact I think it's pretty catastrophic. To really succeed, you need to OWN EVERY STAGE of your business and not hand it off to someone else. Let that sink in.
So Here's What Patric Chan Tells You What You Don't Have to do - if you Want to be a Lazy Ass Marketer!
- Don't need to produce any content
- Don't need to create products to sell
- No need to set up your own membership program
- Don't have to pay for an autoresponder or even hosting
- No need to write copy for sales letters
- Don't need to create your own free offer
- Don't have to send any emails
- No need for customer service
- Don't have to do any of your own research
- Don't have to be savvy or learn internet marketing
WTF! This completely goes against anyone with an entrepreneur mindset. And you do have one right? You need to learn ALL of the above (with the exception of customer service when it comes to affiliate marketing) if you want to succeed in this business. There's no lazy way out.
With Patric Chan's stuff you're also going to be sending traffic to offers that have most likely been seen already. It's unorginal, duplicated content. You don't want that!
If you are already experienced in marketing (you probably wouldn't have found this page anyway if you were) then you don't need this course. You would create your own offers & landing pages with your own campaigns. Like I said earlier - you need to OWN your business, not have it farmed out somewhere else like in the case with CB Passive Income.
Patric will tell you that you can get traffic from Youtube and Solo ads for example but you are stuck with the "HOW" of how to get this. There's not much in the way of training for traffic and it's going to cost you a fortune if you don't know what you are doing.
You'll also need to create unique content as well if you plan on ranking this anywhere online. Duplicate content isn't going to work here. You'll be slapped with a Google penalty before you know it.
In short, if you know how to create your own content and send traffic to it - why would you need Patric Chan in the first place?
The Upsells to CB Passive Income
But Wait! There's more. Yes, you won't be able to escape from those dreaded upsells either.
and another... this one is $47 a month and it's pretty much crap!
There's nothing more frustrating than upsells and I get why marketers do it. If it's a good product though then I don't see anything wrong with it. I've bought upsells in the past and they turned out to be worth it.
With this product though, any upsell is just going to be like adding more garbage to the garbage pile. Start out with crap and just get more crap. You don't need any of it.
I know this may sound harsh and some of you may wince at my words, but I am doing this for you. I'm trying to help you avoid paying for something that just isn't going to work.
In fact, with this system, all you're doing is helping Patric Chan build his email list. You may think it's yours but honestly, he really owns it. Ok, I think you've had enough convincing by now 🙂
Final Thoughts on CB Passive Income
This is going to be short. Really short. Don't bother. If you're not convinced then just re-read everything I said above and please don't go back to the salespage! It's only purpose is to convince you to buy by making it look legit. Just move on.
